1941 -
Mr. Nisigawa and Mr. Inodaka run Kong Yen Food Factory.
1946 -
Mr. Hsu Wan Teh got the running of the factory and changed the name into ˇ§Ta An Kong Yen Food Factoryˇ¨, addressed by No. 1, Lane 10,Nanking E Rd., Sec. 3, Taipei Taiwan.
1947 -

Chairman titled Mr. Hsu Wan Teh. Moved the Headquarter Office to 36 Tian-Shui Road, Taipei.

1948 -
Purchased the Nishimura Miso Factory at 106 Cheng-Do-Road, Taipei;
 
Application for the Registration of Kong-Yen was filed with the Minister of Economics in Nanjing, Mainland China.
1951 -
Establishment of the international Division, Xin-Xin Trading C.at 11 Nang-Yang Street, Taipei.
1959 -
First batch of Miso was exported to Okinawa, Japan.
1960 -
Purchased the Nan-Yang building and moved to the Headquarter Office in September 1.
1963 -
The instant curry was developed in collaboration with S&B Foods in Japan.
1966 -
Imported Japanese foods as the sole Agent for S&B Foods, Inc., Japan.
1968 -
Construction of facilities for submerged fermentation of vinegar, licensed under Marukan Vinegar of Kobe, Japan.
1971 -
The titled was changed into ˇ§Kong Yen Food Co., Ltd.ˇ¨
1972 -
Wasabi powder and the instant wasabi was developed in collaboration with Japan Kinjirushi Wasabi Co.,
1973 -
Changed again into ˇ§Ta An Kong Yen Food Co., Ltd.ˇ¨ in August 22.
1978 -
Purchase of Southern Food Co., Pin-Dong for vegetable processing to be exported to Japan.
1979 -
The Second Chairman titled Mr. Hsu Ho Chin in March.
 
Production of Instant Curry was licensed under S&B Foods, Japan.
1981 -
Purchase and construction of Tam-Sui Factory, Taipei County.
1983 -
The material was exchanged from Japonica Rice to Glutinous Rice.
1984 -
The Glutinous Rice Vinegar has been produced out of the glutinous rice since then.
1985 -
The 3rd Chairman titled Mr. Hsu Ho Chi in June 29. Healthy Sour Beverage series have been produced out of the brewed vinegar.
1987 -
Built Kao-Hsiung Branch in May.
1988 -
Built Tai-Chung Branch in February.
1989 -
Built Chai-Yi Branch in February.
1990 -
Built Tainan Branch in June. Import of Wasabi as the unique agent of Kinzirushi, Nagoya, Japan.
In October, the cooperation with Japan Vinegar.
On November 2nd, applying for GMP Certificate.

Built Zhu-Nan Branch in January;
Certified as a GMP factory in June;

Purchase of the 12,339 m2 land at You-Shi Industrial Park in May for the future site of a new factory.

December 29th, the starting of the construction upon the headquarter(Tai An Building) in Nei Hu.

The facility in Southern Taiwan was re-named after ˇ§Kong Yen Pingtung Factoryˇ¨ in January.
